The Oak & Stone standard

A clear way to move from your land and ideas to a finished project.

We start with your land, the spaces you need, and your budget. Then one team coordinates the design, construction, and finishing details for your home, shop, or commercial building.

Our building approach
How Oak & Stone builds

Strong, comfortable, and made for everyday life.

We plan the rooms, shop or garage, and porches around your needs and your land. Choose the layout, outside look, and finishes that feel like home to you.

How we frame your building

Two ways to build a strong frame.

We offer steel frames or frames built around large support posts. Both include interior walls built with smaller, closely spaced studs to divide the rooms.

Steel frame with stud-framed walls

The main frame is steel. Smaller wall studs shape the rooms and provide surfaces for the wall finishes, with the layout planned around your home or shop.

Post frame with stud-framed walls

Large posts form the main supports. Smaller wall studs fill between them and shape the rooms, with the layout planned around your land and how you will use the building.

Strength you can trust

Built strong for the people and spaces that matter.

We plan each project for strength, safety, and lasting quality so you can feel confident in the home, shop, or gathering place you rely on every day.

Structure and foundation

Choose a steel frame or a frame supported by large posts. Both use smaller wall studs to shape the rooms and wall surfaces. We plan the frame and foundation together for your design and land.

Weather and comfort

Plan the metal roof and siding together with insulation, sealing against drafts, moisture protection, fresh airflow, and heating and cooling.

Home and shop

Plan how you move between the home and shop, along with any required walls or doors separating them. Allow for noise, storage, vehicle doors, and room to move safely.
